Timothy W. Casarez, M.D.

Dr. Casarez was born and raised in Southern California and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA. He attended medical school at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in Pediatrics. He returned to UCLA to complete his fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Mattel Children's Hospital where he was recognized for his teaching abilities with the Mead Johnson Teaching Award. Dr. Casarez is currently the Medical Director of the Pediatric Echocardiography Lab at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. His love of teaching was rewarded when he received the Golden Apple Teaching Award from the Cedars Sinai residents. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Academy of Pediatrics. He is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and speaks Spanish. His interests include neonatal congenital heart disease, interventional cardiology, and he is certified to perform ASD and PDA closure using transcatheter techniques.

     
 

David A. Ferry, M.D.

Dr. Ferry is a California native and received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Claremont McKenna College. He received his Doctorate of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He then returned to Southern California for his Pediatric residency and fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology, both at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Ferry served as the Clinical Chief of Pediatrics and is currently the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is a voluntary Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and he is a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and American Academy of Pediatrics. He enjoys teaching and is a four-time recipient of the Golden Apple Teaching Award given by the Pediatric residents at Cedars-Sinai. He has organized numerous volunteer trips to Latin America where he and his team diagnose and treat children with congenital heart disease. He is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and speaks Spanish. His interests include echocardiography and interventional cardiology; he is certified to perform ASD and PDA closure using transcatheter techniques.

     
 

Burton W. Fink, M.D.

Dr. Fink is the founding partner of PCMA. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago in 1944 and the University of Illinois, Chicago Navy Pier from 1948 to 1949. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Illinois. He then moved west where he completed his Pediatric residency at the Los Angeles County General Hospital. As one of the founding father's of Pediatric Cardiology, he completed one of the first fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology at the UCLA Medical Center. He has served as the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and Chief of Staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology) at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Academy of Pediatrics. He authored Congenital Heart Disease: A Deductive Approach to Its Diagnosis which has been used by medical students, residents, and fellows throughout the world for four decades. He is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Fink enjoys clinical cardiology, travel, and art.

Nancy Kim, M.D.

Dr. Kim is Southern California native and attended the University of California Berkeley where she graduated with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Genetics and a minor in Music in only three years! She returned to Southern California to earn her medical degree and complete her Pediatric residency at the University of California Irvine. She relocated to the Bay Area to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University Medical Center. She is the clinical chief of PCMA's fetal echocardiography program. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and she speaks Spanish and Korean. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Academy of Pediatrics. Her interests include fetal echocardiography and clinical cardiology.

Jeffrey A. Wong, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Wong was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology at UC Davis and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of California Davis School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Oakland Children's Hospital. After serving as a medical missionary in Africa, he temporarily relocated to Ohio to complete his Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. He then returned to California to join PCMA and to start a family. Dr. Wong is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and he is Board Certified in both Pediatric Cardiology and General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine (Vol.). He enjoys teaching and is a two time winner of the Golden Apple Teaching Award given by the Pediatric residents at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He is a medical reviewer for the journal Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, and he speaks Spanish. His interests include congenital heart disease and interventional pediatric cardiology.
